Itineraries

Day 1

Negombo

We are starting our week in Paradise tour from Negombo, a charming coastal city in Sri Lanka, is renowned for its sandy beaches, bustling fish markets, and vibrant culture. Located just a short drive from the international airport, Negombo serves as a perfect introduction to the island's tropical beauty.
The city's Dutch colonial architecture, tranquil lagoon (optional Activity) and historic churches provide a glimpse into its colonial past. Visitors can savor fresh seafood at beachside restaurants, explore the blended culture, or simply relax on the picturesque shores. With a laid-back atmosphere and welcoming locals, Negombo offers a delightful blend of relaxation and exploration for travelers seeking a beach getaway with a cultural touch.

Day 2

Dambulla

Traveling from Negombo to Dambulla in Sri Lanka offers a scenic 3-hour drive through lush landscapes. Along the route, you'll pass serene villages, paddy fields, and coconut plantations. It's a journey blending nature and culture.
Visit Minneriya National Park in the evening(Optional Activity). It is renowned for its large elephant gatherings. Covering nearly 90 square kilometers, the park features diverse wildlife, including Deer, Butterflies and various bird species. The Minneriya Tank, an ancient reservoir, attracts animals during the dry season, creating spectacular wildlife viewing opportunities.

Day 3

Kandy

Visit Dambulla Golden Cave temple in the morning. It is the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka. Dambulla Cave Temple features stunning ancient Buddhist murals and statues, nestled within a complex of five sacred caves which history goes back from 1st Century BC till 18th Century AD.
Traveling from Dambulla to Kandy in Sri Lanka takes about 2 hours by car. The scenic route winds through lush greenery, rolling hills, and vibrant local villages. Along the way, you can visit the Nalanda Gedige (Centre point of Sri Lanka) and Spice Gardens.
Kandy, nestled in Sri Lanka's central highlands, is famed for its sacred Temple of the Tooth, which houses a revered Buddhist relic. The city boasts scenic Kandy Lake and a vibrant cultural scene. Its rich history, colonial architecture makes it a must-visit destination in Sri Lanka.
Visit temple of the Tooth in the evening and witness to the cultural ceremony.

Day 4

Ella by Mini-Coach and Train

Whoa! It is quite a travelling day. Half of the Journey by mini-Coach and rest is by world famous scenic train Ride.
The road trip from Kandy to Nuwara-Eliya is a picturesque journey through Sri Lanka's central highlands. The route, approximately 2.5 hours, winds through lush tea plantations, misty mountains, and charming waterfalls. Highlights include scenic stops at Ramboda Falls and viewpoints offering breathtaking vistas of the rolling hills and valleys. Visit a Tea Plantation enroute to Ella and taste world’s best tea called as CEYLON TEA.
Take the train ride from Nuwara-Eliya to Ella is a breathtaking journey through Sri Lanka's central highlands. Spanning about 3-4 hours, the route offers stunning views of lush tea plantations, mist-covered mountains, and quaint villages. Highlights include crossing iconic Nine Arches Bridge and traversing numerous tunnels, providing a picturesque and memorable experience.

Day 5

Unawatuna

On the way to Unawatuna, experience the traditional village life of Srilankans at small village Wellavwya. In there you can experience how a Village looks like in Sri Lanka and how the day-to-day life of Farmers and Villagers. Enjoy a snack and herbal tea and get ready to enjoy rest of your journey.
Traveling from Ella to Galle in Sri Lanka takes about 4-5 hours by mini-Coach. The journey descends from lush highlands through winding roads to the coastal plains. En route, you will pass Rice fields, waterfalls, and rural landscapes, finally reaching the stunning beaches of Southern Sri Lanka.

Day 6

Unawatuna

Galle, a capital city of southern province Sri Lanka, is renowned for its well-preserved colonial architecture and historic fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Established by the Portuguese in the 16th century and expanded by the Dutch, Galle Fort features cobblestone streets, ancient churches, and charming boutiques. The city's vibrant mix of Sinhalese culture and colonial history is evident in its diverse culinary offerings and cultural festivals. Galle's scenic beaches and rich maritime history make it a popular tourist destination.
Explore Galle city in the day time and visit Galle fort for Sun set. It is definitely worth to walk on Ramparts and witness the Sunset and have a chill evening at Galle fort.

Day 7

Colombo

Traveling from Galle to Colombo, Sri Lanka's Commercial capital, is a scenic and convenient journey. The distance is about 120 kilometers, mini-Coach takes about 1.5-2 hours via the Southern Expressway, ensuring a faster and more direct route, so you can enjoy the Colombo Market and last evening of the tour leisurely.

Day 8

Colombo

As our unforgettable 7-night journey through Sri Lanka draws to a close, we reflect on the incredible experiences we've shared together. From the historic marvels of ancient cities to the serene beauty of tea estates and pristine beaches, each day has been a tapestry of discovery and delight.
